How do I log into The Vital Plan if I don’t have a provider code?
The Vital Plan is a private website for patients of First Do No Harm providers only. If you would like to locate a First Do No Harm provider in your area, please send an inquiry to info@thevitalplan.com and we will gladly assist you. If your provider is a member of the First Do No Harm network and you need to find out their code, please contact your provider office directly to find out their code or send an email to info@thevitalplan.com.
Do you charge sales tax?
Orders that are shipped to North Carolina customers will be subject to tax at the appropriate state and local rate.
Do I have to be 18 to order from your website?
Yes. For products that are listed as appropriate for minors, we ask that you have an adult over age 18 assist you with the ordering process.
I placed an order on your website, but never received a confirmation email. Is this a problem?
You should receive an email confirmation every time you place an order. If you do not receive an email, please contact us to confirm your order.

2. Shipping and Returns
Do you charge for shipping?
All orders under the amount of $100 will be charged shipping as calculated by the US Postal Service. All orders over $100 will receive free shipping.
How long will it take for my order to ship?
In general, orders ship out from our warehouse on the same day when placed before 1 p.m. and next day when placed after 1 p.m. Orders shipped within NC take 1-3 business days to arrive. West Coast orders generally take 3-6 business days to arrive. When you order is shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with a tracking link for your package. Can you ship express delivery?
Currently our website is not set up to offer express delivery, but if you contact us directly, we are happy work out a solution for you.
What if I receive a product that is expired or has a broken seal?
While we work hard to ensure that issues never occur, your complete satisfaction is important to us. If you receive a faulty product, please contact us immediately if and we will ensure that the situation is quickly corrected.
Can I return my nutraceuticals for a refund if I change my mind?
In general, we do not take returns as we can never be sure if a product has been tampered with or exposed to warm temperatures after it leaves our warehouse. However, if you would like to discuss your specific situation, please send an inquiry to info@thevitalplan.com and we will gladly assist you.
3. Taking a Nutraceutical Regimen
Do I still have to eat healthy and exercise in order to gain benefit from a nutraceutical regimen?
Our nutraceuticals are meant to help enhance your nutritional status and well-being. They should be used in conjunction with a well-balanced diet and regular physical activity in order to obtain maximum benefits.
What if my medical condition or medications change?
Changes in your health or your medications may cause your nutritional needs to change. Please make an appointment with your healthcare provider and temporarily stop taking all nutraceuticals if you change your medications or suspect you may have a health issue.
Can I let someone else try my vitamins?
Each person has unique nutritional needs. If your friends and family are interested in learning more about a nutraceutical regimen for themselves, please encourage them to make an appointment with a First Do No Harm provider to discuss their individual nutritional needs.
I’m not good at remembering to take pills. Can I take all of my vitamins for the day at one time instead of morning, afternoon and night?
It is always best to take your supplements at the recommended times as certain nutrients are best absorbed in smaller doses. However in select cases it may be okay to combine dosages. Please follow the guidance from your provider, the nutraceutical labels, and “your product guide” to determine the proper way to take your supplements.
